       The Military Engineer Services (MES) is one of the pillars of Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army which provides rear line engineering support to the Armed Forces. It is one of largest construction and maintenance agencies inIndia with a total annual budget to the tune of Rs 9000 croresThe Military Engineering Services are responsible for the design, construction and maintenance of all buildings, airfields, dock installations, etc. along with accessory services such as military roads, bulk water and electricity supply, drainage, refrigeration and furniture, required by the Army, Navy and Air Force in India. The role of MES is dual i.e. to render both engineering advice and also to execute the works. It also deals with all the multifarious associated requirements such as air-conditioning, cold storage, electric and water supply, sewage treatment and so on. Most important of all, the facilities, assets and infrastructure created are maintained in a serviceable state and, in some cases, operated too, by the MES.

Age: the age 18 years minimum  and  27 years maximum. Relaxation in the age will also be permissible for the reserve category applicants as per govt.rules.

Educational Qualifications:

Draughtsman: diploma in the architectural assistantship.

Supervisor Barrack & Store (Supvr B/S): diploma in the material management.

Store Keeper Grade-II,Civil Motor Driver (OG),Peon,Chowkidar,Safaiwala: - matriculation and with this applicants must be physically fit to make justice with the services.

Chowkidar (Khansama): matriculation or the comparable qualification with the diploma in the cooking or catering..

Meter Reader:  10+2 with the comparable qualification.

Caneman, Mate (SSK): matriculation or the qualification that is comparable. Along with this applicants must also be having the industrial Training Institute pass certificate.

Selection Method : Assortment to be made for the concerning post will be completed with the written test for checking the basic knowledge and to check the vocabulary and confidence inherited interview session is being announced.
