Online Application in the prescribed format are invited for appointment under 4 – tier system for various faculty positions for the post of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in various Departments listed below of National Institute of Technology, Silchar from eligible candidates fulfilling the essential qualification and having experience required for the posts.

Professor : Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 AGP Rs. 10500/-

Associate Professor - Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 AGP Rs. 9500/-

Assistant Professor - Pay Scale : Rs.  15600 - 39100 with AGP of Rs. 8000/- for regular and Rs. 7000/- & Rs. 6000/- for contract in various Departments.

Departments  :

Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Humanities & Social Sciences, Management Studies.

Hence, applicants can send their application throughout the year and depending upon the need of the Institute and availability of suitable candidates, interviews will be conducted periodically.
