Exam Pattern 2017 :- The Exam Pattern 2017 for UP Seva Mandal written Exam is as given Under :-

 The Question Paper in written examination will be of multiple choice /objective type.

 The Question Paper will be composite that will carry 110 marks.

 After the success in Written Exam the Interview will be of 15 Marks.

 The questions in paper will be asked on the Following Criteria or Subject :

General Knowledge : The Question Paper Will Contain following aspects like History, Geography and Socio Economic development of India. Knowledge of current events of National and International importance and such matters of every day observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. Paper will also include questions on Modern History (From 1857 onwards) of India, Indian culture, Indian Polity, Indian Economy, Geography, Polity of India.

Reasoning : The Questions in Question Paper will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.

General Mathematics : The Questions in Question Papers  will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Date Interpretation is the section which have to be focused.

General English : Spot the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Synonyms/Homonyms, Antonyms, Spellings/Detecting Mis-spelt words, Idioms & Phrases, One word substitution, Improvement of Sentences, Active/Passive Voice of Verbs, Conversion into Direct/Indirect narration, Shuffling of Sentence parts, Shuffling of Sentences in a passage, Cloze Passage, 

Comprehension Passage.

General Hindi :- अलंकार, रस, समास, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, तत्सम एवं तद्भव, संधियां, वाक्याशों के लिये एक शब्द निर्माण, लोकोक्तियां एवं मुहावरे, वाक्यसंशोधन- लिंग, वचन, कारक, काल, वर्तनी, त्रुटि से संबंधित, अनेकार्थी शब्द
