Exam Call Letter 2016:
- SLIET Abbreviated for Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and
Technology. SLIET shall organize an entrance exam to facilitate admissions to the
candidates in the most valuable faculty named MBA or Others. SLIET Entrance Exam
Organised for Integrated Certificate-Diploma (ICD) ,2-Year Diploma, B.E.,
M.Tech. ,M.B.A., M.Sc., Ph.D. The Application Forms for these tests have been Finished
to apply. After completing the process the candidates will have to face the
competitive exam for entrance in the Course above described.
For Exam the
Admit Card is an essential tool. So the candidates have to download SLIET
Entrance Exam Permission Letter to participate
in exam. The appliers are advised that they should download the Admit cards
from the official Web Portal in the month of April end or May I or II Week i.e after
17th April 2016 (Tentative) . The Admit Card will be uploaded on official website
before 10 or 20 days of exam.
Establishment Of
SLIET:- Sant
Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology (SLIET), established by the
Government of India, provides technical education in emerging areas of
Engineering & Technology. It caters to the requirement of technical
manpower at various levels by adopting the concept of modular system in
imparting technical education with emphasis on practical training in industry.
Set up in 1989 under Rajiv Gandhi - Longowal accord with an aim to fulfil the
cherished dreams of late Sant Harchand Singh Longowal, the Institute has carved
for itself a niche place among the professional Institutes and Universities of
the country. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource
Development, Government of India. The educational programmes of this institute
are non-conventional, innovative, practical oriented and contain all aspects of
new education policy (1986) of Govt. of India. The Institute offers programmes
at Certificate, Diploma, Degree, Post-graduate (M.Tech., MBA and M.Sc.) and
Ph.D. in Science, Humanities, Management, Engineering and Technology. The
M.Tech. Programmes were started in the Institute in 2002.
Admit Card:- The Candidates are informed that the Admit
Card may be downloaded from Authorised website. The Aspirants Will Download
their Admit Cards from the particular login after 20th March 2016. If
Candidate has any type of difficulty in downloading or printing their Admit
Card, then he should contact / inform the Issuing Authority immediately but not
later than 23rd April 2016.
