Exam Pattern :-
The Written Exam will be comprised of Objective Type With Multiple Choice.
The Total Marks for this exam will be 450 (Paper I : 150, Paper II : 300).
Total Duration for this test will be 03 Hours.

There will be two papers:
Paper I ( 150 Marks ) :- The Paper I Will be Set from the following Subjects like
History of Rajasthan and Indian History with special emphasis on Indian National Movement (30 marks),
Mental Ability Test, Statistics (Secondary Level) (40 marks),
General Science,
Indian Polity,
Geography of Rajasthan (30 marks),
Educational Management,
Educational Scenario in Rajasthan,
Right to Education Act, 2009 –(30 marks) and
Current affairs (30 marks).
Duration of the test will be 1 and a half hours.
Paper II ( 300 Marks ):
Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Graduation Level: 110 marks
Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Senior Secondary Level: 110 marks
Knowledge of Subject Concerned: Post Graduation Level: 20 marks
Educational Psychology, Teaching Learning Material, Pedagogy, Use of Computers and Information Technology in Teaching Learning: 60 marks
Selected personnel in the merit list will be called for personal interview. In the interview, they will be evaluated on subject knowledge, general knowledge and communication skill. Finally elected applicants will be allotted to different schools of the state based on vacancy provision.

Scheme of examination and syllabus for the post of School Lecturer
(1) The competitive examination shall carry 450 marks.
(2) There will be two papers. Paper I shall be of 150 marks and Paper II shall be of 300 marks. Duration of Paper I shall be One and a Half hours and the duration of Paper II shall be Three hours.
(3) All the question in both the Papers shall be Multiple Choice Type questions. (4)
Negative marking shall be applicable in the evaluation of answers. For every wrong answer one-third of the marks prescribed for that particular question shall be deducted.
