ii) Physical Standard :-

a)      Minimum for Male/ Female candidate)

               Category                                             Height

General & OBC                              5’-6” for Male &

5’-2”for Female

Sch.Castes & Sch. Tribes               5’-4” for Male &

5’-0” for Female

The candidates are also to be subjected to a physical efficiency test consisting of the following items:

1500 Metre Race for Male candidates               6 Minutes 30 Seconds for Male &

& 800 Meters race for Female candidates.         4 Minutes 15 Seconds for Female candidates

High Jump                                                                Min.1.25 Metres for Male &

Min. 1.00 Meter for Female candidates

Broad Jump                                                             Min. 4.00 Metres for Male &

Min.3.00 Meters for Female candidates

Exam Pattern For Post Code 478 i.e. SI Of Police :-

The Written Test will be of Objective type Screening test (MCQ).

The Written Exam will be consisting of syllabus like General English of 10+2 standard, Hindi of Matric standard, General Knowledge including General Knowledge of Himachal Pradesh, Everyday Science, Social Science, Current Affair & Logic.

This test will be of qualifying nature and score of the same will not be taken into account for computing the merit. =200Marks

2. Physical Standard and Physical Efficiency test of qualifying nature for those who qualify the Screening Test.

3. Subjective test of those who qualify the Physical Standard and Efficiency Test in General English & General Hindi languages including précis writing, Essay writing etc. = 200Marks

4. Interview of those who qualify the subjective test. = 30Marks
