Age Criteria: Minimum age for the target of engagement to Gramin Dak Sevaks will be 18 and maximum will be 40 years as on the closing date of application submission. Compuslory age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates.

Educational Eligibility: Needful Aspirants should be 10th passed from approved state boards by the respective State Govt. / Central Govt and candidates should have computer knowledge certificate of 60 days training.

Residence Norms: The candidate selected for the post of GDS BPM must mandatorily take up his/her residence in the Branch Post Office village within one month after selection but before engagement as Gramin Dak Sevak Branch Postmaster. The candidate shall submit a declaration to this effect in the application. The candidate selected for the post of other than GDS BPM should reside in post village/delivery jurisdiction.

Selection Method: Sellection will be finalized on the basis of automatically generated Merit List based on 10th class percentage.

Fee Payment: OC / OBC male candidates should pay Rs. 100 at any Head Post Office. Application fee is exemted for all Female and SC/ ST candidates.
