VIT University conducted VITEEE 2017 from
8 to 19 April 2017. It was conducted for intake of candidates into UG Engineering
courses like B.Tech and B.E, in session 2017-16. Now, the University will
release the VITEEE 2017 result. The university is released on April 29, 2017
at 6 PM, on the official website. To know more about VITEEE 2017 and

In the information brochure, the
University has stated that VITEEE 2017 result will be issued
on 30 April 2017. However, it has also mentioned that this date is
tentative and result might be delayed a little. Whenever, it will be issued, it
will be issued online, on the official website. The direct link to it will also
be available here. Also, it will be issued for all the candidates and will
state the rank secure by them. To check VITEEE result, candidates may
follow the steps below.
Access the link above, or the official
website.
Then, enter application number and
password.
Submit the entered information by clicking
on the “Submit” button.
Consequent to the steps above, the result
of the candidates will displayed.
As stated above the result will only
disclose the rank achieved by the candidates. To determined the rank, the
University will use the Equating Method. Under it a percentile rank will be
determined for all the candidates. It will be a unique and invariant position
allotted to the candidate. 70 percentile rank will denote that 70 percent
candidates have scored less than the rank holder and 30 percent exam takers
have scores more than the respective rank holder.
Once the rank is allocated to the
candidate, provision to challenge it will not be provided.
VITEEE 2017 Cutoff and Merit List
After the result is issued, candidates
would be screened through benchmark of minimum marks.
This benchmark is known as cutoff and it
is applied categorically as well.
You can check cutoff marks and merit list
on the official website of the university.
Selected candidates would be enlisted in
the merit list in decreasing order of marks.
They will be asked to enter the options of
colleges and courses in decreasing order of priority.
VITEEE 2017 Counselling and Seat Allotment
The counselling will also be held
from 11 to 16 May 2017. Last year, two rounds of couselling were held.
However, for VITEEE 2017, so far, information only about the round one has
been disclosed by the University. Schedule of the round one of the counselling
