SCHEME, PATTERN AND SYLLABUS OF EXAMINATION 2018
a. There shall be a written test of one paper. The paper shall be
of "Objective Multiple Choice-type"of maximum 100 Scores.
b. The question paper will be structured of two parts:
i. PART–A shall
structure of 20 marks having questions on General Science and Quantitative
Aptitude, each having weightage of 10 marks. The question will be of up to 10th
Standard.
ii. PART–B shall
structure of 80 marks of NCVT syllabus for the similar trade.
c. There shall be no negative marking.
d. The subject of the written examination, the highest scores
allotted to every paper, number
of questions and the
time decided is given in the table below :-

e. The paper shall be
bilingual, i.e. printed in Hindi as well as English and in local language if
required.
f.
Candidates shall answer on OMR sheets only.
g. Candidates shall be suggested to darken the circles on OMR
sheet with blue/black ball pen only. OMR sheets spotted in pencil or with other thing would be
rejected out rightly. No marks would be allotted for questions where
multiple darkening has been done in the OMR Sheet.
SYALLABUS
a) General Science (10 Questions) - Questions
will be purposed at checking the Applicant's General Awareness of the
environment around him. Question will also be structured to check knowledge of
basic science studied up to 10th standard and would include such matters of
each day observations and experience as may be required of any literate person.
b) Quantitative Aptitude (10 Questions) – The
Applicants will be checked for general mathematics of up to 10th standard
jointing Number Systems, Equations in two variable, Simple and Compound
Interest, Perimeter, area and volume of geometrical figures, Direct and inverse
proportions, Pythagoras theorem and Trigonometry.
c) NCVT Trade (80 Questions) - Questions from the NCVT Syllabus of
similar Trade for which Applicant applied.
