NOTIFICATION
FOR ADMIT CARD 2018 FOR GATE EXAMINATION
The candidates are informed that an Admit Card is a must to participate
for the GATE exam. The Admit card may be accessed and downloaded from the
Official website of GATE .It can be downloaded from 29 December 2017 .
Please note that GATE Exam admit card 2018 will not be sent via post or e-mail.
The candidates are advised to bring a hard copy of the admit card 2018 to the
examination center.
GATE 2018 - IIT Guwahati will conduct
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2018 on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018
for 23 papers in a computer based mode at 199 cities across India and 6 cities
abroad. GATE 2018 is a national level Post Graduate entrance examination for
admission to M.E./ M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and
other Universities in India. GATE is an examination conducted jointly by the
IISc, Bangalore and seven IITs on behalf of the National Coordination Board
(NCB)-GATE. A candidate can appear only in any one GATE paper. The GATE 2018
result will be announced on March 18.
GATE score card will be available from
March 20 to May 31, 2018. The score card will be valid for a period of 3 years
for M.Tech admissions only from the date of announcement of the GATE result.
GATE score will also be used for PSU recruitment. The admit card of GATE 2018
has been released on January 4, 2018, a day before the prescribed date. The
application form of GATE 2018 was available from August 31 to October 9, 2017.

With Admit card the
candidates those appearing in GATE exam 2018 must take an original and valid
photo identification Proof. Photo Copy or Xerox copy of Original ID Proof will
not be allowed on Examination Center. All the candidates must give details of
the ID proof When they would be said for to show the ID proof at the
examination while filling the online application.

Admit Card from December 17, 2017 onward. The GATE 2018 Admit Card will be available online only at
the official website of GATE and must be downloaded by the eligible candidates
& applied for the GATE 2018.
