Applications are invited from eligible
Indian citizens for the post of Constable in West Bengal Police from
candidates between 18 and 27 years of age as on 01.01.2018 (relatable for
SC/ST/OBC candidates of West Bengal only & Ex serviceman & Serving Home
Guards of West Bengal Police) having passed Madhyamik or equivalent
examination. Application Forms may be submitted either through on-line or
off-line.
About West Bengal Police :- The Main aim For WB Police is to
maintain the rules of law and to bring the changes & maintain the
situation for peace in environment for greater police public service and
thereby achieve greater efficiency in its primary objective of prevention of
crime. So girls who want to get a job in west Bengal police and have courage to
do something for country should apply for these posts.

Age
Limit (As on 01.01.2018)
: The applicant must not be less than 18
(eighteen) years old and must not be more than 27 (twenty seven) years old. The
Upper – age limit shall be relaxed for the SC/ST candidates of West Bengal only
by 05 (five) years and OBC candidates of West Bengal only by 03 (three) years.
Th e upper age limit is also relaxable for the Ex – servicemen, NVF and Home
Guards Personnel (serving in West Bengal Police only) as per existing
Government Rules. However Age relaxation is NOT available to Civic Volunteers.
