News For the Contenders that Allahabad University will conduct M.Ed Entrance
Exam 2018 or Master of Education Entrance Exam 2018. The Candidates are
notified that Allahabad University offers M.Ed. course for the eligible
candidates and to take admission in M.Ed. there will be Entrance Test 2018.

Establishment
Of Allahabad University: Allahabad University has always
occupied an esteemed place among the universities of India for over a century
now. Established on 23rd September 1887, it is the fourth oldest university of
India after Calcutta, Bombay and Madras University.
The credit for conceiving a
large Central College at Allahabad, eventually to develop into a University, is
due to Sir William Muir, then Lt. Governor of United Provinces. As a result of
his initiative the foundation stone of the Muir Central College (named after
him) was laid on Dec. 9 1873 by His Excellency Lord North brook. Sir William
Muir said on that occasion: "The establishment of a central college at Allahabad has been my earnest desire ever since I assumed my
present office.

Course Detail :- Many Courses Offered by Allahabad University to the
eligible Candidates & M.Ed full name Master Of Education for the candidates

Application
Fee : Application Fees may be deposited at any branch of H.D.F.C
Bank Ltd. For General & OBC it will be Rs 800/- and for SC / ST
& PH Candidates RS. 400/- by Challan. The Challan may be
downloaded from official web portal of University of Allahabad. For
detail see official notification.
Educational
Qualification:- The appliers who want to have admission in M.Ed. programme
should achieve at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade in B.Ed.
Note :-
The Reservation will be applicable as per rules and relaxation for
S.C./S.T./O.B.C./P.W.D. and other applicable categories shall be as per rules
of Central Government.
qualifying
relaxation marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD will be 5% for & Gen. candidates
should obtain 50% or more.
