Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Gramin Dak Sevak Exam (Written) is as Follows:-

1.      There will be multiple choice objective type Questions in the written examination.

2.      There will be Four Partitions of question papers named Part A, Part B(I) & Part B(II).

3.      The Total marks will 100.

4.      There will be 02:00 hours (120 minutes) time Duration.

5.      No negative marking.

Part A            :- Minimum 20 marks for OC, 17 marks for SC/ST and 19 marks for OBC candidates.

Part B(I), B(II) Two Partitions :- Minimum 10 marks for OC, 8 marks for SC/ST and 9 marks for OBC candidates in each segment.

OPC Syllabus For GDS :- Odisha Postal Circle Gramin Dak Sevak Exam Syllabus 2018 is given below :-

Part A Mathematics : Number systems, Decimals and Fractions, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Profit and loss, Simple interest, Average , Discount, Partnership, Time & work, and Time & distance.

Part B(I) English :- Articles, Prepositions, Conjunctions, Tenses, Verbs, Synonyms & Antonyms, Vocabulary, Sentence structure, Proverbs, Phrases& question from a small unseen passage.

Part B (II) Regional Language-Odia : Mishra o Sanyukta Vakya, Vakya ra Rupantara, Swara Sandhi, Alankara, Rudhi o Lokakatha, Ashuddha Vakya Suddharupa, Padhinathiba Gandyansha.
