RRC Chennai (Southern
Railway) has recently announced about the recruitment of 257 Posts of Safaiwala
(Sweeper). Many eligible Candidates who filled there the application form for
these Posts. The Process of Submitting online application form is Started from
27.07.2018 & Conducted till the 28.08.2018. More Details about the Exam is

EXAMINATION:- All the eligible Candidates who filled there application form
& Now they are waiting for the Exam. Soon the Screening Test will be
Conducted First & the date 07.10.2018. More Details about the Exam is
provided below. Candidates can verify their eligibility from the website of RRC
concerned. SMS and e-mail massages will be sent to all eligible candidates.
Candidates should keep their emails active till the end of document
verification. RRCs will not entertain any request for change of mobile number
and e-mail address at any stage.
The e-admit card to the eligible candidates (along with Scribe
admit card, wherever applicable) shall be available one week before
commencement of the online examination on the website of RRC concerned for
downloading. NO admit card will be sent to candidates by RRCs by post.
Candidates must bring their e-admit cards along with a valid photo ID(viz.
Voter card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN card, passport, Identity card
issued by his/her employer in case the candidate is a Govt, employee,
school/college university photo id card etc) in original into the examination
hall, failing which candidates shall NOT be allowed to appear for the online
examination.
Exam Pattern:- The Exam Pattern for Screening Tes will be
Follows as:
Firstly the Screening
Test will be Conducted.
The Screening Test will
be Online Written Type.
The Exam will be Total
of 50 Question with 45 Minutes.
The Screening Test will
be of Hindi, English, Tamil & Malayalam.
The Screening Test will
be based on the educational qualification prescribed for the post.
Those Candidates who
Qualified Screening Test they will be Called for PET Exam.

Candidates must also bring two colour photographs (of size 3.5
cm*3.5cm), with clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses,
for appearing in the online examination(please refer Para 5.03) RRC(s) will not
entertain any request for any change in examination centre allotted to
provisionally eligible candidate(s). Candidates should ensure that they are
carrying the following while coming for the examination
(i) e-admit
card/hall ticket,
(ii) a
valid photo ID,
(iii) Two
passport size photos,
(iv) Original
SC/ST certificate (wherever applicable) for availing free pass facility.
MOBILE PHONES AND ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION
DEVICES :
(a) Mobile phones, blue tooth, pagers, calculator or any other
communication devices are not allowed inside the premises where the examination
is being conducted. Any infringement of these instructions shall entail action
such as the rejection of candidature and/or including debarring from future
examinations conducted by Railway Recruiting Agencies.
(b) Candidates are advised in their own interest not to bring any
of the banned items including mobile phones/pagers/blue tooth etc. to the venue
of the examination as there will be no arrangement for safe keeping.
Candidates are advised that no separate advance notice for date of
Online Examination shall be issued to them. So, they should prepare themselves
for this examination accordingly.

Pattern : The Exam pattern
is as follows:
The Exam Will be Written
Objective Type.
The Exam will be of 100
Questions.
The Time Duration for
the Exam Will be 90 Minutes.
The Question paper will
be Based on the Subjects like general knowledge/ awareness/ mathematics /
reasoning etc.
The Question Paper Will
be Provided in 15 Languages.
The Questions will be of
10th class standard.
There will be negative
marking of 1/3 mark.
MEDICAL FITNESS TEST:
Candidates recommended for appointment will have to pass requisite medical
fitness test(s) conducted by the Railway Administration to ensure that the
candidates are medically fit to carry out the duties connected with the post.
