As always the Staff Selection Commission is going to manage the
exams named Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 Tier I
for recruiting as various posts. SSC CGL is the Exam which is held every
Year. SSC will hold the Tier I Exam in August 2017.
The Examination will comprise of two Tiers of Written Objective Type examination followed by Computer Proficiency Test/ Interview/Skill test, wherever applicable as per the Scheme of Examination. Posts have been placed in two groups, inter-alia, based on their Grade Pay and papers in Tier II examination/Interview.

The Commission reserves the right to
make changes in the scheme of
examination such as conduct of Tier – I and Tier – II examination
in on – line mode, treating Tier – I examination as only qualifying an d not
conducting personality test cum interview for some or all posts etc.
The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as
indicated below :

-III — Descriptive Test (Pen and Paper Mode)

CGL Tier I Exam Pattern :- It is an objective Type Online Exam.

§ Time
