Assistant Manager :- The candidate must have degree of  BE / B.Tech.  in field  electrical /                                                         electronics  .The candidate must have qualified the GATE  Qualify

            Junior Engineer :- The candidate must have three years diploma in any field like civil 

                                   engineering /    electrical engineering / electronics engineering from any recognized                                      institute.

 Age Limit :- The candidate`s minimum age must be between minimum 18 yrs & max.28 years.

West Central Railway Notified Recruitment for 4517 Group ‘D’ (Erstwhile) Posts 2013

Railway Recruitment Cell, West Central Railway notified Recruitment 2013 for 4517 Erstwhile Group ‘D’ Posts such as Trackman, Helper, Safaiwala, Parcel Porter, station Porter, Khalasi, Asstt Pointsman, etc., against Grade Pay Rs. 1800/- and Pay Band -1 of Rs 5200 – 20200. The candidates eligible for the Posts may send their Applications in the prescribed format on or before 15 January 2014.

Vacancy Details

Name of the Posts:  Trackman, Helper, Safaiwala, Parcel Porter, station Porter, Khalasi, Asstt Pointsman, etc.

Total No. of Vacancies: 4517

Pay Scale: Pay Band -1 of Rs 5200 – 20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1800/-

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates must be between the age limit of 18 to 33 years, as on 01 January 2014. Upper age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed 10th Class or ITI or equivalent from a recognized Educational Institution/Board. Appearing candidates may also apply.

Examination Fees

UR (General Category) and OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- (Rs. One hundred only)

While, all the women candidates and SC/ST/Minorities/Ex-servicemen/Physically Challenged/ /Economically Backward candidates are exempted from payment of examination fees.

Mode of Payment

The examination fee should be paid in the form of crossed Demand Draft/ Bank Draft from any Nationalized Bank or Crossed IPO from any Post Office in favour of “FA & CAO, West Central Railway Jabalpur” and payable at Jabalpur.

Selection process

Selection will be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in Written Test followed by Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
