How to Link Adhaar Card to Bank Account and LPG in DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Scheme, Updated 2017

I am trying to  get introduce you about DBT ( Direct Benefit Transfer) Government scheme for LPG in the month of Dec. 2014. Before this, the customers of  all gas agencies like - HP Gas and Bharat Gas,  Indane need to link their own Aadhar Card to LPG agency and  bank accounts, if you need subsidy. Procedure to get LPG subsidy in your bank account with or without Aadhaar card The Central government’s plans DBT(Direct Benefit Transfer ) Scheme for LPG will be launched in all india, rajasthan starting from 01 January 2014. So, be ready to pay full amount when the gas cylinder comes to your house. The balanced subsidy amount will reach your bank account by online transfer in very short time - only for 12 cylinders per year, for one connection. You question is that “Why  we need an Aadhaar card.” If you want  to get the subsidy LPG, you have to become a Cash Transfer Compliant Customer (CTC)  by linking your Aadhaar number to your bank account and LPG Consumer Number before 31 december 2014

Procedure to Attach your Aadhar Card Number to your Bank Account

If you want to Link your Aadhaar Card Number to your old Bank account. This work should be done by filling Off Line Form -1 . A properly filled in Form-1  should be deposited either at your bank branch or drop box kept at your LPG distributor or some petrol pumps authorized for it. 

Procedure to Download Form for Linking Adhar Card

Form -1 is can be downloaded from the official website of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas under the Downloads Form Section.

Steps to Link your own Adhaar Card Number to Your  Gas Agency  :- You can do this work by 6 methods:-

(1) Online Method: go to official website of UIDAI www.rasf.uidai.gov.in. Now just click on Start and do as directed

(2) IVRS Procedure :   Call on gas agency phone number.

 (3) Via Call Centre :- 180 02333 555  and Link your own Aadhar number

(4) Offline by Form 2 – Download it from http://petroleum.nic.in/ fill in properly and deposit it with your LPG agency.

(5) Use mobile and send SMS : do SMS  :

REG <space> distributor phone number with STD without zero <space> consumer number . 

For BPC customers - Register your Mobile number with your distributor

ii. After doing registration successfully, send SMS for Aadhar submission as under:

UID <space> Aadhar Number

You have to send SMS to following :  Indane Gas : 87260 24365,  HP Gas  : 98896 23456 or Bharat Gas 57333 or 52725
