OSSC Examination Syllabus 2017 :-  Orissa SSC Syllabus 2017 For Laboratory Assistant in Forensic Science written examination 2017. What the course material the candidates have to study for preparation of the post for Laboratory Assistant. The recruitment for the posts Lab Assistants has been declared before Some Months ago & now the written examination will be conducted for these posts recruitment. In this era the competitive exams are very tough & candidates have to make preparations well & for making preparations they have to plan a strategy. Everything is prepared & planned for making preparations. We below will describe about the latest syllabus & examination pattern for the Posts Laboratory Assistant Exams will be conducted or held by Orissa Service Selection Commission ( OSSC ).

Paper-I General Awareness :- The questions will be  included in this paper to examine the candidate’s psychology and the general awareness. The Questions will be in this paper of many aspects like aptitude and general awareness on science, reasoning,  current  affairs, geography, history of India & Odisha, Indian constitution, Socio Economic Political Development, Human rights, fundamentals of Computer etc. The standard of the questions paper will be of graduation level. The question paper will  contain objective type multiple choice questions. There will be OMR sheet for answering or the Commission may purpose For online examination For this paper.

Paper-II Technical Paper :- In this paper the question paper will contain the questions in the particular discipline like Chemistry,  Zoology, Physics & Psychology as per the candidate select the specific subject as a optional. The questions will be of objective type or multiple choices. There will be  OMR sheet For answers or the Commission may inform for online test for this paper.

Syllabus for Chemistry :- Transition metal Chemistry ,Nuclear Chemistry, , Structure and reactivity, nature of bonding in organic Molecules Theories of metal-ligand bonding, metalloporophyrins and iron-sulphur protein, metalloenzymes , Complex Equilibria, , Reaction mechanism (Structure & Reactivity), reaction intermediates, Stereo chemistry, Thermo Dynamics, electro chemistry, Bio-inorganic chemistry, , Organic reaction mechanism, Surface Chemistry, Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Natural Products and Spectroscopy, Bio-molecules, Computer application in Chemistry, Organomettalic chemistry, Chromatography, HPLC, GC-MS, GPC, Analytical Chemistry, solvent Extraction and Ion Exchange, Ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry.

Syllabus for Physics :-   Electronics, Quantum Mechanics, Solid State Physics, Nuclear and Particle Physics & Statistical Mechanics Classical Mechanics, Mathematical Methods (only the differential equations. and their solution, power series solution) Quantum Mechanics, Electrodynamics, . The detail courses covered in the above Broad Head are same as the courses prescribed for Post Graduate studies in Physics & Applied Physics in the Universities of Odisha.

Syllabus for Psychology :- Attribution, Impression formations and Management, Attitude, Interpersonal Attraction, Prejudice and Discrimination, current Paradigms on Psychopathology, Stress, Personality disorder, Learning, memory, thinking, Perception, Attention. Emotion, Personality, Intelligence, Physiology, Concept of cognitive Psychology, Life span perspective on Heredity and environment, Development of Perceptual process, Development of Learning and Memory, Development of Self and Personality, Statistics, Perspectives of Social Psychology, , Applying Social Psychology to Media and Criminal Justice.

Syllabus for Zoology/Biotechnology :- Meiotic behavior of chromosomes, linkage and crossing over, Genetic toxicity testing. Microbiology History and Development of Microbiology, Methods in Microbiology, Structural Organization of microbes, virus, Microbial toxins, Chemotherapeutic agents. Genetics Mendel’s law of inheritance, Biochemistry Amino Acids, osmoregulatory, digestive and nervous systems.Proteins, Carbohydrates, Enzymes, Liquids.Animal Diversity Non-chordates and proto chordates, Animal Behavior. Invertebrates.Physiology and Endocrinology Circulation, respiratory, excretory, Glands Pituitary, thyroid, Parathyroid, Pancreas, Adrenal, Gonads.

Cell Biology Cell theory, Cell motility, Cytoskeleton, Cell wall, Cell inclusions, Molecular mechanism of cell division, Cell organelles, Intra and Extra cellular transport of proteins.Molecular Biology DNA Replication, DNA repair, Cell signaling, Molecular tools.Instrumentation and techniques in Biology Microscopy, Centrifugation, Spectrophotometry, Blotting Techniques, Biostatistics Immunology and Cancer Biology. Development Biology History of Development Biology, Gamogenesis, Organogenesis, Adaptive Physiology. Taxonomy Biosystematics and Pale zoology, Chordates, Evolution.

Exam Pattern : Exam Pattern for Lab Assistant written test is as follows :There shall be a written examination of 300 marks consisting of two paper 3 followed by Viva-Voce test of 30 marks.The Commission at their discretion may adopt computer based on line test for the written examination.
