WBSSC Abbreviated for West Bengal Staff Selection Commission will Organize CGL Exam Full name Combined Graduate Level Exam 2017 for fulfillment of the posts of Inspector, Backward Classes Welfare, Minority Development Officer, Research Investigator and Fishery Extension Officer under West Bengal Junior Fishery Service.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus For Pre Exam For CGL 2017

Exam Pattern For CGL Exam 2017 :- The Examination For CGL Exam Pattern 2017 is as under :-

 The Written exam for CGL will carry multiple Objective Type.

 The questions in Question Paper will be 135 Of 150 Marks.

 Period For Exam is 90 Minutes i.e 1:30 Hours Only.

Madhyamik or equivalent Standard :-  Physics,  Chemistry,  Biology,  History,  Geography,  Civics, General Standard.

Know your State/Current Affairs

 General Knowledge – Art & Culture

 General Knowledge – Sports

General Knowledge – National

 General Knowledge – International

 General Knowledge – Abbreviations

 Test of Reasoning

 Computer

ENGLISH

Higher Secondary or equivalent Standard :-  Comprehension,  Grammar,  Sentence Correction,  Synonyms & Antonyms,  Spelling,  Idioms/Phrases,

MATHEMATICS,

Higher Secondary or equivalent Standard,:-  Average,  Ratio & Proportion,  Percentage,  Simple Interest,  Profit & Loss,  Time & Distance/ Time & Work,  Algebra,  Trigonometry & Geometry, Mensuration.

Mains Examination

Exam Pattern :-

Exam Pattern for the CGL Mains Examination is as Follows:-

 The Questions in the written Exam will be descriptive  type.

 The Exam will be of 100 Marks.

 The time Period will be of Two Hours or 02:00 hours or 120 minutes.

Candidates applied either for the post of Research Investigator or for Fishery Extension Officer or for both are to be shortlisted, Post-wise and Category/Sub Category wise, on the basis of marks secured by them in the Preliminary Examination and depending on the vacancy for the concerned post, for respective Category / Sub Category. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear directly in the Interview. There will be no separate Mains Examination for these two posts.

 Whereas, Candidates applied either for the post of Inspector, Backward Classes Welfare or for Minority Development Officer or for both are to be shortlisted, Post-wise and Category / Sub Category wise, on the basis of marks secured by them in the Preliminary Examination and depending on the vacancy for the concerned post, for respective Category/Sub Category. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to appear in the Combined Graduate Level (Mains) Examination, 2017.
