Conservation Department, Planning Department and North Maharashtra University
Jalgaon has announced setting up of a “Bio-Diversity Park” on 100 ha. of land
belonging to North Maharashtra University. The objective are promoting
conservation of regional bio-diversity, provide research facilities in
biodiversity and spread awareness among the populance regarding importance of
biodiversity for mankind. The project will also recommend suitable water
