Oil Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on August 30 declared the project for online booking of new LPG connection. Pradhan asked the online booking easiness will finish the issues consumers meet in physically walking to gas companies for a new connection. "I compliment the public division oil business companies for aligning their business methods with the Digital India Vision," the minister said.

Under the project, citizens of elected cities will be able to submit application for a new connection, book cylinders, keep an eye on booking and delivery schedule, select a distributor and also track Aadhaar-linking condition.
