Polling (Voting) started in constituencies wise of Uttar Pradesh’s western region on Saturday morning in which an projected 2.5 crore voters are estimated to caste their valuable votes. This will also start the Assembly elections (Vidhan Sabha Chunav) in the state which will be organized in seven stages. The results will be declared on March 11.

Uttar Pradesh (UP) Current Chief Minister (CM) Akhilesh Yadav's "Kaam Bolta Hai (work tells)" slogan was put to check today 403 constituencies voted in the third of its seven-phase assembly elections.

The 12 districts where polling was finished such as Farrukhabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Hardoi, Kannauj, Kanpur rural, Kanpur city, Unnao, Lucknow, Barabanki, Auraiyya and Sitapur. Around 2.5 crore people were projected to decide the fate of 826 Applicants.

Election held on: 11 February 2017(I), 15 February 2017(II), 19 February 2017(III), 23 February 2017(IV)

Result will be declare on: 11 March 2017
