The Candidates have been called for the Written Test in order of merit at the rate of 5 (five) times the number of posts allotted in respect of each category. If the total number of qualifying candidates turns out to be less than 5 times the number of posts, all qualifying candidates.

Written Test :- has been conducted throughout the State on one day at each district H.Q. The date of the written test mentioned on Call Letter.

Result 2017 :- The Recruitment Department of Assam Police has conducted the Constable Vacancy Written Contest in the Month Of Oct 2017 ( Tentative). Result Containing the Status about the Candidates In Exam, will be released later of 20 to 30 Days Of Exam. The select lists will be published in the Assam Police website and through other available media. No waiting list will be prepared. In case of a tie in marks, the candidate older in age will be placed higher in the merit list. Further, candidates having same date of birth and have obtained equal marks, will be placed in the merit list according to higher height.

Selected candidates shall be required to undergo basic police training at place and time decided by the competent authority. They will be on probation for a period of one year (for Constable of Police (WO/WT) in APRO, probation period will be 2 (two) years) which may be extended if required.

Result is the document which is much awaited by the aspirants after the examination have been finished successfully. Result Containing the final Marks in Written Exam & also contains the possibility or surety for the chance for grabbing job or not.
